The 1st phase provides useful on line tools and guides for Healthcare Managers to understand and respond positively to the core standards assessments, which is part of the new annual healthcheck designed to asses the performance of NHS organisations in England.

The Healthcare Business resources will soon have other tools to help you such as other components of the annual healthcheck e.g. Improvement Reviews, financial management guides, ideas on how to improve primary care planning, case studies from successful Healthcare economies and much more.

Access to the on-line tools is FREE. The organisations registered can also benefit from our FREE "health news-by-email" service and receive regular updates from us on the Annual Health Check and other related Healthcare matters.

Feedback from the NHS suggests that Chief Executives, Board members and key management staff find the new Annual Health Check confusing and challenging. Unlike the previous system, the new Annual Health Check requires assurance and judgements about meeting standards rather than a simple adherence to known and standardised requirements.

This service is designed to offer NHS Boards and Chief Executives and is designed to offer ‘ a real advantage’ in preparing for and submitting their response to the Annual Health Check.
