The business challenge

Egg's retail arm wished to expand its current internet shopping site services to cover:

• An electronic wallet, which could be used to pay for all products offered by Egg and 3rd party merchants.
• A self-service template shop environment for new traders to use; also integrated into the electronic wallet.

Our approach

The solution required many areas of Egg's and 3rd parties' infrastructure to be interoperable in order to provide a seamless transparent service to their customers, and entier provided the technical consultancy and project management to match this need.  Engaged from conceptual stages, through solution design to procurement, selection and full deployment, entier's key responsibilities were:

• Writing of technical RFP documentation.
• Short listing responses based on measurement criteria.
• Case study/Reference site visits.
• Technology selection recommendations.
• Project management of several 3rd parties into a single product delivery.
